GET TO KNOW YOUR DOG WALKER
Thank you for considering my business to care for your pet. I understand how important your pet is to you and that it is hard to trust just anyone. That is why I think it is important for you to know a little bit about me and how I came to start Spoiled Pawz.
I grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I have always loved animals. Growing up we always had a dog, along with a variety of "little critters". After receiving my Associates degree I moved to Maryland to attend Hood College, in Frederick Maryland. Soon after graduating from Hood, I worked with people with disabilities, advocating for rights on their behalf. I enjoyed that for a while, but was looking for a change.
One of my first purchases with my own paycheck after graduating from college was for my first dog Bridgette, who cross over the rainbow bridge a few years ago but still part of me everyday. After a year of having Bridgette I wanted to expand my love of animals and do a little bit more so I became a foster mom for a Miniature Pincher rescue group. I had four very successful foster dogs who moved into forever homes. My fourth foster is very special to me. His name is Logan and when I first got him he was very sick. He had the beginning stages of heartworm. After three months of treatment and TLC with me, it was time for him to be adopted into his forever home. To make long story short, Logan decided that I was his forever home. It became clear to me that my calling is to spend my days with dogs and pets. And that is how Spoiled Pawz was born.
Since I started Spoiled Pawz I have became bonded, insured and certified in animal first aid and CPR. Most importantly, I believe dogs should be allowed to be dogs.
